The M5 line serves 24 stations between Üsküdar and Sultanbeyli. M5 is an Anatolian-side line running from Üsküdar through Ümraniye and Çekmeköy to Sultanbeyli. It connects to Marmaray at Üsküdar and to M8 at Dudullu.
Opened on December 15, 2017, M5 is Turkey’s first fully driverless metro line. It was extended to Sultanbeyli in May 2026, bringing it to 24 stations.
